Southern most Suspension Bridge

Bodie Creek Bridge which links Lafonia to Goose Green in the Falkland Islands is said to be the southern most suspension bridge in the world.
Built in 1925 it was used to cut down the length of the sheep drives from the Lafonia plains to the shearing sheds at the settlement of Goose Green.

It has now fallen into disrepair and is closed to all traffic both vehicular and pedestrian.
The photographs show my Mitsubishi Delica at the Eastern end of the bridge after quite an off route drive from Goose Green.
